Surface Qualities

RHEINZINK is available in three different surfaces:

RHEINZINK®-bright rolled

The classic material for all sheet metal work using seaming and soldering techniques. A natural patina formed by weathering protects the material; maintenance becomes superfluous.
RHEINZINK®-"pre-weathered-pro" blue grey

The ex-works "preweathered pro" RHEINZINK material guarantees the immediate optical blue-grey surface quality.  The new surface treatment  protects the material against fingerprint or other markings, which can occur during transportation, storage or processing.  The material is processed in profilers without oil.  RHEINZINK-"preweathered pro blue-grey" is recommended specifically for aesthetically demanding roof and facade surfaces, copings and roof drainage systems.  If at all possible, facades should always be made using RHEINZINK-"preweathered pro blue-grey".
RHEINZINK®-"pre-weathered-pro graphite-grey*

With the newly developed "preweathered-pro graphite-grey"* surface, RHEINZINK now has a dark alternative to its ecological material.  The velvety grey appearance, the diverse design benefits and proven RHEINZINK processing properties, predestine RHEINZINK-"preweathered pro graphite-grey"* to be used for project planning and the realization of exceptional metal building envelopes and accessories.
