A Study Group for Pre-fabricated buildings - Photovoltaics Working Group
Solar radiation, converted into usable forms of energy such as heat and electricity, will become an important, indeed the most important, source of energy in the future. There is an unlimited supply and it leaves no pollutants behind. This fact should be taken into consideration by this working group. The working group has therefore set itself the following goals.
- To improve the exchange of information between PV manufacturers and the manufacturers of building envelopes (roof/facade).
- To improve the acceptance and use of photovoltaics, independent of promotional programs by architects, designers, clients and investors..
- Integration of photovoltaics into architecture
- To use the building envelope as a multi-functional element, and to eliminate obstacles in approval procedures.
